Are Scrantons City Council Meetings Televised?

Binghamtons city council meetings are more entertaining than prime time tv shows on all major networks.  Come look at some of the clips from our local John From Binghamton show on Public Access TV at :

You enjoy the comic relief of John Solak aka John from Binghamton and his teddy bear Fullback Steve Garlock.

They will help you experience what Binghamton is all about.

The live feeds on John from Binghamtons board only consist of the local politicos and their lying cheating crap they tell the residents of the city... or whats happening in Binghamton that the politicos are trying to cover up.

John and Steve bring the truth to the people while catching the politicos with their pants down around their ankles.

I wish we could get a show like that in Scranton.  Our local "public access" (I use that term loosely) is controlled by corrupt cronies of our corrupt mayor, who will do nothing but praise him.  The televised city council meetings are the only forum that shows any questioning of the mayor's power, but the King and his cronies have been trying to get the meetings pulled off the air in favor of more fluff praising the king.

Connorsdad the politicos have been trying to pull the city council meetings off public access for years with much protest by the residents.

The most recent council president even changed the meetings from 7 pm to 6:30 pm thinking that the movers and shaker residents who voice their opinions at the Public Speaking podium wouldn't show up at the earlier meetings but it backfired on the CP and the politicos.

Thanks for the addy on the d site. I am going to check it out. In the meantime I am glad to see that the voice of the people is represented here on a neighbor board which has much in common with its northern neighbor Binghamton.
