I am disappointed to see very few messages about the local elections in Scranton or the fact that the Rebublican Party did not field any candidates for mayor or city council.  You may as well say that the Republican Party is dead in this City when the leadership of this party cannot put any name on the ballot.  Or do they believe that these positions are not that important to them?
