Anyone see Joe Peck’s finance report? Boy-o-boy he is bought and paid for. Thousands of dollars donated by builders. I wonder if he gets into office what kind of pay backs they will be asking for. From builders and some other contractors a little Over $8,000 dollars – PECK’s Bought and Paid for!
If you look at all the other candidates, they have received money from the following:
Curt Smith – New face BUT to young – All of his money came from his family, except $500 from some Iron Workers Political Action Committee out of Washington DC – What is his next step the White House. I don’t think so, he never voted or was registered to vote until last year. He’s a joke candidate.
Gathered from family and some friends a little over $3,300. No Chance! No real fundraising ability.
Bryan Dunkle – New face BUT not ready yet, possibilities for the future though. He paid just under $500 - the littlest amount spent in this campaign. Paid by himself. He’s just not ready yet. No one really knows his potential because he really hasn’t put out the best effort yet, maybe in the next race he will.
Dean Pepicello – An oldie but a goodie – Ran before but got killed by Springirth 6 years ago. He gathered a little over $3,500 mostly by his family and a few rich friends like his boss. No one knows if he can beat Peck or Marinelli if he wins, most think he is taking Dunkle too lightly, that can bite him in the ass in the end. He hasn’t showed any leadership as of yet.
Nick Marinelli – Ran once before and almost beat Bossart on a third party ticket. This candidate intrigues me the most, He rose over approx. $6,000 on his own through fund raisers and some of his own money. I hear some people absolutely love this guy and some really dislike him. But he is a fundraising machine and the marketing of himself is great as far as I can see. The jury is still out on him as for now.
Joe Peck – Code enforcement officer – I dislike him already, but he has been there for 12 years. Most of his money came from builders and himself. I read in the newspaper the other day he said he will not be a puppet that tells me if he thinks people are thinking that, he really will be one, especially if he is trying to defuses it already. Plus I wonder what favors he is going to have to give out to these builders if he gets into office – I think he’s bought already.
So I think it comes down to whoever wins between Peck and Marinelli and if the signs have any indications Peck is going to get beat handily. BUT we will see in 10 days.
That is just what I have seen, thus far, I haven’t seen any name calling, but the first to come out dirty will be the first to lose! That is my prediction.
Glad the election is over and your predictions were half wrong. Pepicello is a good canidate to run against Peck. Your canidate Marinelli is just an all time LOSER!!! The people of Harborcreek have realized that a man that cannot run his own business, is no good. He lost his house to the bank because he can't keep a job once they find out what he is like. The Erie Times News found out that he was writing letters to the editior and using fake names and telling lies. What kind of person is this, he wants voters to trust him? He strikes a young boy at a baseball game and gets arrested. Yes the charges were dropped,but what kind of person would strike a kid over a ballgame. The people of Harborcreek have made two good choices for canidates. Lets hope your Marinelli moves to LOSERVILLE U.S.A and forgets about politics because once a loser always a loser.
That is the problem with Harborcreek! You people worry more about trying to destroy a mans charter, than what they want to do with our community! BUT if that is the route you want to take we’ll go there!

Joe Peck no plan for Harborcreek’s future! What is he going to do for us???? He hasn’t said because he doesn’t know, because Mindek and Bossart are in control of him.
You’re so worried about Marinelli and he isn’t even in the race anymore! You’ve got your priorities all mixed up! Who cares about him at this point, but lets get some things straight about him!
Marinelli didn’t strike a kid at a baseball game! It was football practice and all he did was grab the kids face mask and yell at him for trying to twist another child’s head off. Oh, by the way the kid finally admitted he didn’t do anything wrong and that he lied in court, in front of 6 parent and 6 other kids that were at court to testify for Marinelli, Thrown out of court! Get your facts right you dumb ass!
Writing the letters – even the editor said it was one of his relatives you backward ass redneck!
As for losing his business you still don’t have the facts right on that one either! You must be one of those people that depend on people like Marinelli who try to create jobs by trying to start a business, BUT your to dumb to do that! At least he tried!
For his job, I don’t know about you but I know he owns many income properties, sounds like a good investor to me.
To bad Harborcreek got Joe Peck a guy that has been busted for ripping off the senior citizens by trying to by their properties for under the market value and using his position to get them. At least Marinelli buys them buy his own research and doesn’t use his position to get and insider view and than rips people off that he works for!
The people will know all about Joe Peck come fall!
Pepicello isn’t the best choice but he’s better than Peck!
