In the latter part of last school year, teachers were approached to donate to a fellow district employee whose husband was diagnosed with cancer. Having watched this person "speak" at City Council meetings, I knew perfectly well who she was, but I put that aside , because that is business, this was personal. I donated gladly and would not change that today. My prayers are with this woman's husband for a quick and complete recovery.
Sadly, and ironically, a teacher and friend, was diagnosed with cancer. His wife has taken a leave to spend time with him and help him through this battle. All of her energies are directed to her husband's health and recovery.
My question is this: How can a "person" whose husband is strugggling with a serious illness waste her time spewing venom every Thursday evening? Where are her priorities? Can one sink any lower than to attack someone's child? What could she have been promised for delivering her pathetic rhetoric? Shouldn't she get her priorities straight and put her energy where it should be?
