Numbers look low on ScrantonPoliticalTimes.

Numbers look low on ScrantonPoliticalTimesMost users ever online was “27” on Thu Oct 20, 2005 12:19 pm.  That is poor.  People are sick of the nastiness of www.dohertydeceit.com.  nothing new old stuf.  They have 146 registered users and over 60 have not posted a message.  Another 25 have posted less than 5 times.  That means 61 people have posted.  That is dismal.  That is the reason why dohertydeceit.com had to scrap the website and try a newspaper.  People are sick of the negativity of dohertydeceit.com.  old news.

I just got off the dohertydeciet.com message board.  I counted a dozen posts that had over 1000 views in a span of a few days, and there were many with over 600 views.  Are you kidding, or what?  Why do you give this completely false information?  Another thing, who told you that the website was being taken down in favor of a newspaper.  I have it on very reliable information that Pilchesky will keep the site going for a long time.  The newspaper is another venue for the people to read to get the truth, thank goodness for that.  You're a liar, it's as simple as that and it's clear from your pathetic postings that you're a Doherty man trying to somehow make Pilchesky look bad.  That's not even remotely possible.  The guy is walking on political water in the eyes of thousands of Scrantonians.  You better pack it up.  I'll be watching what you post here from now on.  And, I'll be right behind you with the truth.

I think that viewing the "nutty" website is not akin to agreeing with the nonsensical postings.

I, for one, log on to the site to read the political rantings of the fringe.

It's quite humorous, and judging by the content of most of the posts, I consider it nothing but a rumor mill.

To think these people actually have any political pull would be moronic.

I heard that city council speakers have been threatened and the fact that dohertydeceit.com's old message board was illegally shut down tells me that some people are afraid of those speakers and those messages. If the site and the board were not a threat, why would the powerful in this city give a **** about what they say?

Because, apparently, what is being said is the truth. I have actually checked out some of the facts and figures of the posters because I also want to understand if I'm being bull****ted, but I have found only a few misleading statements.

The most recent development is that the new little paper called The Plain Speaker, had advertisers pull out due to harassing and coercive conversations made to them by Doherty's sister. What are they afraid of, considering that the Speaker had no teeth in its articles, and went about only 20 pages. How could that be a threat to the administration? The implication by the actions of the connected people in this town makes me believe more than ever, that the postings on the board are supported by facts and documentation, and that the website is a truthful expose. What else could anyone think?  I think Doherty and his people are afraid of the working class, since they are outnumbered.

Only time will tell, Nov 8th should be very interesting.
