PoliticsPA Advertising Glut

I understand your desire to make money on this website, but half the time I can't even get to it because of the cell phone ad.  When I do make it there, I have at least 5 pop-up ads.  Please charge more for your ads and thus reduce the number of them and do something about the cell-phone ad up-front.  I appreciate your consideration.

Thanks the input... but I have a feeling that charging for subscriptions would be far less popular!

Oh really? Try it! I dare you.

And yeah, I have to agree. I can deal with the occasional gatekeeper ad, but all the popups? They're not worth the three daily links to articles I usually find on my own anyway.

Congratulations!!!  Your 2nd pop-up has the amazing ability to not allow access to your website. I commend your technical advertising folks in your desire to make this a pay site.  Keep up the good work.

Be careful! Sigh Snyder sent me an email calling me a loser after I complained about the popups. For real.

He said "try pop-up blocker, loser."

That's pretty funny. People are paying him to make the pop-ups, then he's telling readers to block them. I wonder if the people paying for those ads know he's at the same time telling his readers to block them?

Please let your second pop-up advertiser know how much "bang for the buck" he's getting with his ad.  I'm sure he'll really be pleased advertising with you!

This site is on it's last leg. Ever since he rolled over  for the Scranton powerful I lost all faith in anything posted here as news.
