We should start a fnatasy political league here. I'm serious. We could give points for each lawmaker's sponsored and co-sponsored bills that pass each chamber and then get signed into law, amendments and maybe some kind of point system for money brought back to the district.
We'd each get one U.S. Senator from PA, three U.S. Representatives from PA, three state senators and five state representatives.
I'd say 5 points for sponsored bills, 3 for co-sponsored, one point for each amendment and one point for being on the winning side of each vote. Maybe a bonus point for each $10,000 brought back to the district.

I would draft Specter, Murtha, Hart, Shuster and Schwartz for Washington. Piccola, Thompson and Fumo in the senate. Geist, Melio, Mann, Schroeder and D. Evans in the house. I'd like to tack on a couple of other categories. Freshman legislator in each state house (I pick Browne in the senate and Shapiro in the house), kind of a rookie of the year category.
Not a bad idea. OK, one rookie each. I don't know yet who I'd pick. And all transactions for the week to come must be completed by Monday at 8 a.m. to count for the week.
