SOUTH SIDE COMPLEX TRIAL SET FOR JUNE 15, 2005 @ 900 AM

WHILE SOME IN THE DOHERTY ADMINISTRATION, THE UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON AND THE SCRANTON TIMES WOULD LIKE YOU TO BELIEVE THAT THE SOUTH SIDE COMPLEX IS A DONE DEAL I ASSURE YOU IT IS NOT. IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ORAL ARGUMENTS IN FRONT OF JUDGE JAMES WALSH ON JUNE 15, 2005 AT 900 AM.

ALL ARE WELCOME TO COME AND LISTEN WITH YOUR OWN EARS HOW CARL GRECO WILL NOW OPENLY ADMIT THAT THE SOUTH SIDE COMPLEX IS A DEDICATED PROPERTY BUT THAT THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO SELL IT ANYWAY.

Best Regards, Phil

It will be in circa 15 days that we see the network in action. The U of S and Scranton Times act like it is a done deal because it is as if it is a done deal. They know judge WALSH, a good ol' Irish boy, is going to give them virtually everything they want.

There is no fighting it folks; resistance will be ineffectual. The "news alliance," more like propaganda minstry, the good ol' boy network, and the Denaples-Industrial Complex (an Iron triangle of sorts) is much to strong for the resistance that exists exterior to the network. Only if the network collapses from the inside will "justice, equality" and all of the rest of the loaded words that U of S president uses to describe the University prevail.

Despite knowing that proponents against the sale of PUBLIC assets are going to lose I say Viva La Resistance!

So the Complex is up for trial. Amazing how they managed to push it back past the election. That is the most corrupt deal that has ever taken place in this city. Doherty and Mellow should be going to jail over it and every single councilperson that voted for it should have resigned in shame. That deal is the epitomy of dirty politics for your political contributors and there should be an investigation into it. I have seen the documentation that has been ignored by the Scranton Times. They really do protect some people.

It's very interesting that the U of S hasn't gone through with their redevelopment plans for the Complex. If it is a done deal, what are they waiting for? Certainly, the best interests of their students would be served by an expeditious rehabilitation of that field.

On this one, they thought they could get away with putting their hands in yet another Doherty cookie jar, but didn't count on the fact that someone, like Phillips, had the backbone to stand up and fight.

I believe the U actually knows that they will never get that property.
