There are so many bad or non existent republican Ward leaders so I will spare them, how about Vince Lowry for the Democrats? Continually loses to Boy Wonder Vogler. It is time for some new blood over there, with Mike's race coming up, we need someone to count on.
Chris Volger is one of the hardest working and best ward leaders that i have met. His honesty and abilty to stand by his word speak for themselves. I am also proud to call him a friend. He has the Only republican ward in the city.This is not by accident , but by sheer hard work. His results should speak for themselves.

Don't know the politics of Mayfair that much, but for a blue collar, rowhome area being the ONLY Republican Ward in the city must speak volumes for someone or something.

I agree that Chris works hard (but he has to in order to maintain). I am not sure it is even Republican anymore, but if it is,it is not the only Republican ward in the city. What about John Perzel's ward. That is the most Rep by more than 1000. However, if we had some competition in there against these two wards leaders (other than Lowry) we wouold be able to have a better hold on the NE.
I agree that the 55th Ward has gotten stale under Vince Lowry. He would truthfully do the party a great service by hanging up his cletes and retiring. This can be a good ward with a little effort from the top.
