Can Congrssman Don Sherwood now be beat in a general election in his Republican gerry-mandered district that split the City of Scranton in two in order to reduce the Democratic edge there (in what was formerly McDade's 10th District). He'll no longer be able campaign to his conservative base on the family values issue and he has voted with that other paragon of ethics Tom Delay about 93% of the time on the House Floor. Of course, the Scranton Times has thus far given Sherwood a free ride, so maybe his base doesn't even know of alledged indiscretions.

The Democrats will actually have to run a candidate against him in order to win. When was the last time they did that?
