I still can't believe the strange circumstancs of his resignation. I mean its clear he simply wasn't wanted for the next ticket. But I know very little about his suppossed replacement, Mike Washo. What I've heard is that he is a nice guy, and i guess he worked in the Connors administration??
What are your impressions out there? I feel largely uneducated about this but I would really like to see the Dems make an honest challenge
I don't know to be honest. Since it is an unpaid post, they are generally allowed to have jobs that are government related and still be a school board member. As far as that extending to elected officials (or appointed officials) I am not sure.
